This guide explains how to check in to events and mint your attendance NFT.

How to Check In

Step 1: Scan

Point your phone camera at the QR code displayed at the event venue.

Step 2: Connect

Link your Web3 wallet. Supported wallets:

• Coinbase Wallet (recommended)

• MetaMask

• Rainbow

• Any WalletConnect-compatible wallet

Step 3: Check In

Tap the "Check In" button. You're now registered and entered into any giveaways.

Step 4: Mint NFT (Optional)

For $0.50, mint a proof-of-attendance NFT that lives in your wallet forever.

Attendance NFTs

What You Get

Attendance NFTs are ERC-721 tokens that prove you attended an event. Each NFT includes:

• Event name

• Date and location

• Unique artwork

Cost

$0.50 per mint - this covers gas fees and platform fee.

Where to View

Your NFT is minted directly to your connected wallet. View it:

• In your wallet app

• On Base Scan by searching your address

• On NFT marketplaces that support Base

Giveaways

How It Works

1. Check in to the event

2. You're automatically entered into the giveaway pool

3. Organizer draws winners on-chain

4. If you win, you'll see your address in the results

Verifying Results

All giveaway results are on-chain. You can verify any draw on Base Scan using the transaction hash provided.

Tips

• Make sure your wallet is connected to Base network

• Keep some ETH in your wallet for NFT minting ($0.50 worth)

• Check in early - some events have attendee caps
