On-chain Giveaways
DropIn giveaways are transparent and verifiable - no more "trust me" random selections.
How It Works
For Organizers:
1. Create an event with check-in enabled
2. Attendees check in throughout the event
3. When ready, click "Draw Winners"
4. Select how many winners to draw
5. Approve the on-chain transaction
6. Winners are selected and recorded on Base
For Attendees:
1. Check in to the event
2. You're automatically entered into the giveaway pool
3. Wait for the organizer to draw
4. Check if your address is in the winners list
Transparency
The winner selection happens on-chain via our smart contract. This means:
• The randomness is verifiable
• Results can't be manipulated
• Anyone can audit the draw on BaseScan
After a draw, you get:
• Transaction hash
• Winner addresses
• Link to verify on Base Scan
